Bruce Chovnick owns and operates Blue Cloud Ventures LLC that he founded in 2002. Through this company, Chovnick concentrates on strategic investments in early stage technology companies.
Bruce Chovnick LLC was formed in 2001 as an operating company for equestrian investments and associated holdings specifically targeting internationally top rated hunter & jumper horses, riders, and owners. Bruce Chovnick LLC is a distributor for the SoftStall product line.
In addition to his numerous equestrian investments, Chovnick competed regularly in the amateur jumper division. During the past, Bruce Chovnick LLC has provided significant sponsorship for the Washington International Horse Show, the Capital Challenge Horse Show, and the Vermont Summer Festival.
Recently, Chovnick became a professional and began training horses and riders at the TriColor Stables facility near Ocala, Florida.
Chovnick spent over eighteen years in management positions at four premier companies. Until May 2001, Chovnick was a corporate officer with VeriSign (Network Solutions). Before VeriSign, Chovnick was a top executive at General Electric’s Information Services business. Chovnick joined GE in 1993 after having spent almost 10 years with IBM.
Chovnick received a B.S. in computer science from the University of Florida. His graduate studies at the University of Florida were in computer engineering and he completed extensive study in business administration while at both IBM and General Electric. Chovnick is also an instrument rated private pilot.
